Monday .. more or less!

I am so not a techie person and have only just worked out how to post on my blog. Update on my move to Spain is that I have given notice at work and I am leaving on Friday 8 May 2009. That focuses the mind! Only two more months to go ... and the list of things I need to do is very long.

My friend E is off to Spain on Friday and I am so excited for her and can't wait to hear how she gets on. Wish I could have been going at the same time but it won't be long before I get out there too.

I have set dates for two leaving do events - a tapas picnic in Regents Park on 5 May and a more traditional drinks on 7 May. So far looking good for people coming along. I know I am only heading off for 12 months but after 8 and a half years in my job, there are a lot of people I need to say hasta luego to.

Totally randomly to all this, I have decided to train in Reiki before I go so that will be another skill to add to my portfolio. If nothing else, I will be able to use it on myself. Not sure it will help with the teaching however!
