Friday lunch with friends in Drinkshopdo

I love this place. It used to be a Victorian bath house and more recently a sex shop. It now has a new life as a retro shop where you can buy cool designer things, vintage furniture and accessories, play board games, drink tea from proper tea pots, eat the best cake and "do" some really interesting things while consuming cocktails.

I learnt how to make a wallet from recycled fruit juice cartons the other evening and had the best time. You can't recycle this cartons so it is great to discover a way to upcycle them into something useful and aesthetically pleasing. I swapped stories with eco friendly folk and shared some sewing tips and came away with a sparkly wallet that I can actually use!

Other "dos" include truffle rolling, essential French, dot to do disco, clay modelling, pearl necklace making and corsage making. The signs are good for this quirky venture. Friendly, creative and vintage and brilliant carrot cake! I love it!
